Yutong Apron Bus Enter Kuwait Market for the First Time
On February 10, Yutong delivered 16 apron buses to Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s first private airline, during a handover ceremony at its Marketing Center. This delivery marks Yutong’s first entry into Kuwait’s apron bus market and a key milestone in its expansion across Middle East aviation hubs.

Kuwait’s extreme desert climate, where summer temperatures reach 51°C, demands vehicles that perform reliably under intense heat, sandstorms, and UV exposure, especially in terms of heat resistance, corrosion prevention, and dustproof performance. Against the backdrop of Kuwait’s Vision 2035 and growing airport traffic, there is rising demand for enhanced airport services and operational capacity.

Drawing on years of Middle East market expertise, Yutong deployed a specialized team to study Kuwait airports’ operating conditions and customer needs, developing tailored solutions. The delivered buses feature a robust closed-ring body structure and anti-corrosion cathodic electrocoating to withstand harsh environmental conditions. Equipped with electronically controlled air suspension for enhanced stability and ride comfort, and high-capacity independent A/C that are energy-efficient and antibacterial, they guarantee passenger comfort even in extreme heat.

With tailored products and end-to-end operational solutions, Yutong has become a key airport bus supplier for Jazeera Airways, which praised Yutong’s product quality and delivery efficiency at the ceremony. The airline expects the new buses to significantly enhance passenger experience at Kuwait airports.

With 18 years of specialization in apron bus solutions, Yutong has provided vehicles to more than 130 airports across 40+ countries and regions. Through this partnership with Jazeera Airways, both parties will collaborate to enhance Kuwait’s transportation infrastructure by providing superior products and services.
