Recently, as a brand-new ZK6138H coach slowly rolled out of the delivery area of the Karachi KD plant, the cumulative number of coaches delivered by Yutong at its partner plant in Pakistan officially exceeded 3,000. This milestone not only marks Yutong as the first Chinese brand to achieve more than 3,000 localized coach assemblies in Pakistan, but also injects continuous impetus into the iterative upgrade of passenger transport equipment in South Asia.

Since launching the local assembly layout in 2014, Yutong has gradually established a full-process KD production system covering chassis, welding, painting, assembly and inspection lines in Karachi. Over the past decade, from the first ZK6122HL rolling off the production line to the current ZK6138H being widely welcomed by customers in the local passenger transport market, Yutong has successively promoted the CKD local assembly of four main models, with cumulative production exceeding 3,000 units, and its market share in the local road passenger transport sector has continued to rise. Behind this achievement lies the continuous investment and in-depth development of local manufacturing capabilities by Yutong and its partners.

At the production end, Yutong's KD plant adopts a fully disassembled local assembly model for the body, chassis and core components, significantly improving the response speed. More importantly, Yutong has transplanted a unified quality standard to its Pakistan plant - Yutong has stationed quality experts and teams of highly skilled engineers on site all year round to ensure that every vehicle off the production line meets the quality standard requirements, from quality inspection during the production process to quality inspection and testing before delivery.

In addition, relying on the advantages of the CKD model, Yutong has created direct or indirect employment for more than 1,000 people in the local area, achieving a win-win situation of commercial value and social benefits.
