Yutong in Pakistan

Yutong entered the Pakistani market in 2008 and began bulk sales of well-received medium and long-distance coaches locally in 2015. Currently, its products serve various sectors including long-distance coaches, city buses, commuters, and airport buses across Pakistan's major cities and transportation hubs. Beyond complete vehicle exports, Yutong established a KD factory in Karachi with local partners, producing its first locally assembled vehicle in 2016. The company also deploys quality control experts and KD managers year-round for process supervision, enhancing industrial chain capabilities and local manufacturing. In 2025, Yutong delivered 27 battery electric buses to Lahore, Punjab Province, supporting Pakistan's transition to green transportation.
